Welcome Ceremony + Concert

Kick off WorldPride 2025 with an electrifying start at Nationals Park. The Welcome Ceremony sets the stage for an incredible LGBTQ+ celebration in Washington, D.C., spotlighting the rich history and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community, complete with welcoming remarks from dignitaries and Capital Cup athletes.
Then, on Saturday, May 31, the energy skyrockets as Shakira, on her 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran' World Tour, delivers a powerhouse performance at the Welcome Concert. This outdoor event promises an unforgettable night of music and celebration. Gates open at 5:30 PM, so don’t miss out!
Music Festival: Global Dance Party

Pride-goers, prepare for the ultimate global dance party. For the first time in D.C. history, WorldPride pumps up the energy with a two-day music festival at RFK Festival Grounds. This monumental event, presented by Jake Resnicow’s Dreamland and produced in collaboration with Insomniac Events and Club Glow, will feature three stages of diverse talent, cutting-edge art, and immersive experiences. With an eclectic range of House, Pop, Drag, Circuit, and Techno music, there’s a stage (and party!) just for you.
