Housekeeping Service at the Hotel Madera & Firefly Restaurant + Bar

SHARED RESPONSIBILITY

Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering – which is required – whenever you’re in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates.

SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES & CONTACTLESS EXPERIENCE

Signage throughout our hotel and restaurant remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits with capacity reductions in our fitness center and restaurant are in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions have been installed at the front desk.

Contactless check-in, mobile key, and service requests can all be accomplished via our mobile app. To provide the best experience please contact the front desk for details on downloading and activating it before arrival.

Take out from Firefly Restaurant+Bar is available during its posted business hours. In-room dining is not available, Breakfast and Lunch are not currently served on weekdays.

Elevator access is restricted to 2 persons at a time, unless members of the same family are sharing the car.

Fitness Center. All equipment has been spaced at least 6 feet or 2 meters apart. The Fitness Center is available 24/7 with your guestroom key.

PUBLIC SPACES, GUESTROOMS and TEAM MEMBERS

In keeping with the Hotel Madera’s commitment to creating and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, main entrance, fitness center and front desk. We have also provided additional hand sanitizing stations, conveniently placed in all public areas, as well as on each guestroom floor at the elevator landing.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Our staff wear a masks at all times in all public and back of the house areas, as well as gloves when tasks require them. A solid, see through partition has been installed at the Front Desk. Current local government guidelines state that all guests are required to wear a mask in public spaces, unless they are eating/drinking.

Guest Rooms

Individually sealed bags of ice are available on each guestroom floor in the freezer below the still and sparkling water station. Disposable paper cups are provided in each guestroom. Still and sparkling water is provided free of charge at these stations as well.

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. A sanitation seal is affixed to the doorway once the room has been inspected, ensuring you are the first to enter. TV remotes are sealed in plastic to prevent contamination and facilitate complete sanitization. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day. If you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service, please let us our guest services team know. We will be happy to schedule service according to your preferences. Please note that if you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 4th night.
